In the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Harvesters resting beneath a tree in a farmyard sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,461.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hendrik Meijer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A wooded river landscape with peasants resting by a cottage sold at auction in October 2004 with the realized price of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,339.37).
