In October this year Christies in New York held the auction Made in Holland: Celebrating 50 Years of Christie’s Amsterdam, which included the work The interior of the Old Church in Delft by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 20,160.00 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior Of The Oude Kerk At Delft in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 280,779.45).

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Made in Holland: Celebrating 50 Years of Christie’s Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit The interior of the Old Church in Delft von Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 20.160,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior Of The Oude Kerk At Delft im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 280.779,45).
