In January 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Interior Of The Nieuwe Kerk, Delft With The Tomb Of Willem The Silent by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet for USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,819.80). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Oude Kerk At Delft in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 280,779.45).
