Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Interior Of A Protestant Gothic Church, With Elements Of Both The Oude Kerk And Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet was sold in the Old Master Paintings Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 64,330.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Oude Kerk At Delft in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 280,779.45).

Die Arbeit The Interior Of A Protestant Gothic Church, With Elements Of Both The Oude Kerk And Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam von Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 64.330,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrick Cornelisz. van Vliet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of The Oude Kerk At Delft im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 280.779,45).
