Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "The Mirror", 1994 by Helene Schmitz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 82,000.00 (€ 7,749.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Helene Schmitz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work "The Doorway", 1994 was auctioned for SEK 140,000.00 (€ 13,230.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "The Mirror", 1994 von Helene Schmitz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 82.000,00 (€ 7.749,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Helene Schmitz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2018 die Arbeit "The Doorway", 1994 für SEK 140.000,00 (€ 13.230,08) versteigert.
