Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Lust II", 1983. by Helene Schmitz was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The price achieved of SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,100.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helene Schmitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "The Doorway", 1994 in April 2018 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 13,230.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Lust II", 1983. von Helene Schmitz kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.100,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helene Schmitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "The Doorway", 1994 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 13.230,08).
