In April 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "The Doorway", 1994 by Helene Schmitz. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 140,000.00 (€ 13,230.08), 40% above the upper estimate. With this result, "The Doorway", 1994 is even the most expensive work of art by Helene Schmitz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "The Doorway", 1994 von Helene Schmitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 13.230,08) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist "The Doorway", 1994 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Helene Schmitz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
