Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 20 Minuten Vor 1 Uhr (20 Minutes To 1 O'Clock) by Heinrich Campendonk was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2020. The price achieved of EUR 762,700.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 650,000.00 – 850,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heinrich Campendonk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kuh mit Kalb, which sold at auction in February 2006 for GBP 1,688,000.00 (€ 2,482,669.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 20 Minuten Vor 1 Uhr (20 Minutes To 1 O'Clock) von Heinrich Campendonk kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 762.700,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 650.000,00 – 850.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Campendonk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kuh mit Kalb beobachtet, die im Februar 2006 für GBP 1.688.000,00 (€ 2.482.669,35) versteigert wurde.
