Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Soledad Infinita Nº 24 by Hector Poleo for USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,671.34). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hector Poleo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maternidad in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 137,900.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Soledad Infinita Nº 24 von Hector Poleo für USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.671,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hector Poleo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maternidad im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 137.900,36).
