Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hector McDonnell could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery Prints Sale Online auction, the work Fleshers Fishshops and Fruiterers changed hands for GBP 76.50 (€ 87.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hector McDonnell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Warner Dailey's Kitchen in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,785.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hector McDonnell konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery Prints Sale Online wechselte die Arbeit Fleshers Fishshops and Fruiterers für GBP 76,50 (€ 87,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hector McDonnell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Warner Dailey's Kitchen im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 31.785,86).
