Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Girls. Toy. Smoking" No. 4, 2002 by He Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,339.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Girls. Toy.
