Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Girl in Sofa by He Sen for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,332.01). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Girl in Sofa von He Sen für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.332,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
