Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Whisky by He Sen was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,789.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit New Whisky von He Sen wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.789,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
