Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Reverie by Haynes King was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2008. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,264.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Haynes King achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Love Letter in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,948.53).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Reverie von Haynes King kam im September 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.264,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Haynes King erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Love Letter im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.948,53).
