Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Tanger" by Harald Lyth was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 23,000.00 (€ 2,385.72). Admittedly, works by Harald Lyth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Efteråt" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 195,000.00 (€ 19,062.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Tanger" von Harald Lyth im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 23.000,00 (€ 2.385,72) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harald Lyth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Efteråt" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 195.000,00 (€ 19.062,60).
