Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Peasants' Feast, or The Twelve Months by Hans Sebald Beham was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,216.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Sebald Beham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recto: A Putto Standing Beside A Flaming Urn Verso: Four Studies Of Men'S Heads in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Peasants' Feast, or The Twelve Months von Hans Sebald Beham kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.216,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Sebald Beham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Recto: A Putto Standing Beside A Flaming Urn Verso: Four Studies Of Men'S Heads im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08).
