The work „Liegender II“. by Hans Schmitz was sold in the Herbstauktionen 2017 - Third Floor auction at Grisebach in December 2017. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Schmitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abwehr. in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit „Liegender II“. von Hans Schmitz wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Herbstauktionen 2017 - Third Floor bei Grisebach versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Schmitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abwehr. im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
