Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work De Grote Visite by Hans Bayens. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,912.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Bayens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit De Grote Visite von Hans Bayens zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.912,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bayens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
