Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online, which included the work Untitled (C84-068), 1984 by Hannelore Baron. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,451.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hannelore Baron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (B82032), 1982 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (C84-068), 1984 von Hannelore Baron zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.451,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannelore Baron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (B82032), 1982 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.597,62).
