Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hannelore Baron was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,211.25 (€ 1,001.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannelore Baron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (B82032), 1982 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hannelore Baron kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.211,25 (€ 1.001,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannelore Baron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (B82032), 1982 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.597,62).
