Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hannelore Baron could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 672.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannelore Baron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (B82032), 1982 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hannelore Baron konnte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 750,00 (€ 672,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannelore Baron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (B82032), 1982 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.597,62).
