Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online, which included the work Untitled (C77-056), 1977 by Hannelore Baron. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,408.00 (€ 1,330.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hannelore Baron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (B82032), 1982 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (C77-056), 1977 von Hannelore Baron zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.408,00 (€ 1.330,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannelore Baron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (B82032), 1982 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 11.597,62).
