Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hannah Starkey could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Untitled - January 2000 changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 425.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannah Starkey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,357.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hannah Starkey konnte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Untitled - January 2000 für GBP 375,00 (€ 425,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannah Starkey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.357,41).
