The work December by Hannah Starkey was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2017. The result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,837.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hannah Starkey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,357.41).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit December von Hannah Starkey kam im November 2017 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.837,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Starkey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.357,41).
