Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi, which included the work Witness From Baghdad 1 by Halim Al-Karim. The price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 32,889.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Halim Al-Karim have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) was auctioned for USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,072.30).

Im April 2010 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi durch, in der auch die Arbeit Witness From Baghdad 1 von Halim Al-Karim zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 32.889,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Halim Al-Karim konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) für USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.072,30) versteigert.
