This artwork by Hajime Sorayama achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Robot Surf (Silver Version) sold for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,146.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hajime Sorayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hajime Sorayama erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Robot Surf (Silver Version) für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.146,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
