Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kimono Temple by Haegue Yang was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,462.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Haegue Yang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Central Composition in Explosion – Trustworthy ‘For Sophie Taeuber’ #184, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 89,020.30).
