Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition - Projet de coussin by Gustave Buchet was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2021. The price achieved of CHF 16,380.00 (€ 15,822.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Buchet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Torse En Mouvement, 1918 Body In Movement, 1918 in December 2010 with an auction result of CHF 134,500.00 (€ 108,185.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition - Projet de coussin von Gustave Buchet kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 16.380,00 (€ 15.822,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Buchet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Torse En Mouvement, 1918 Body In Movement, 1918 im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 134.500,00 (€ 108.185,88).
