Admittedly, works by Gustave Buchet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Torse En Mouvement, 1918 Body In Movement, 1918 in December 2010 with an auction result of CHF 134,500.00 (€ 108,185.88).

Die Arbeit Paysage aux nuages von Gustave Buchet wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.680,00 (€ 21.287,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Buchet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Torse En Mouvement, 1918 Body In Movement, 1918 im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 134.500,00 (€ 108.185,88).
