Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligrapy In Running Script by Guo Shangxian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guo Shangxian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poem In Running Script, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 25,600.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligrapy In Running Script von Guo Shangxian kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guo Shangxian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poem In Running Script beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 25.600,62) versteigert wurde.
