Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Poem in Running Script by Guo Moruo. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,718.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Moruo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,080,000.00 (€ 214,142.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem in Running Script von Guo Moruo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.718,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Moruo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.080.000,00 (€ 214.142,06).
