However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guo Lin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Couplet Calligraphy in Running Script, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,119.54).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.897,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Guo Lin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Couplet Calligraphy in Running Script beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.119,54) versteigert wurde.
