Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script by Guo Lin. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,271.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Guo Lin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Couplet Calligraphy in Running Script was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,119.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script von Guo Lin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.271,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Guo Lin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Couplet Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.119,54) versteigert.
