Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Performance by Guo Jin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,439.02). Admittedly, works by Guo Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Performance No. 7 in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 122,113.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Performance von Guo Jin wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.439,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Performance No. 7 im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.000,00 (€ 122.113,26).
