Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Dos personajes by Gunther Gerzso for USD 25,500.00 (€ 23,836.23). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunther Gerzso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paisaje legendario (Azul y naranja) in May last year with an auction result of USD 529,200.00 (€ 493,150.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dos personajes von Gunther Gerzso für USD 25.500,00 (€ 23.836,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunther Gerzso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paisaje legendario (Azul y naranja) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 529.200,00 (€ 493.150,68).
