Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gunther Gerzso could be acquired at Christies in New York in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Presagio changed hands for USD 350,000.00 (€ 357,763.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Other works by Gunther Gerzso have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Paisaje legendario (Azul y naranja) at USD 529,200.00 (€ 493,150.68).

Andere Arbeiten von Gunther Gerzso wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Paisaje legendario (Azul y naranja) mit USD 529.200,00 (€ 493.150,68).
