Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Waterfalls" by Gunnar Widforss was sold in the Classic Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,747.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunnar Widforss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grand Canyon in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 121,500.00 (€ 143,177.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Waterfalls" von Gunnar Widforss wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.747,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Widforss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grand Canyon im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.500,00 (€ 143.177,00).
