The work Grand Canyon by Gunnar Widforss was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,250.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunnar Widforss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grand Canyon in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 121,500.00 (€ 143,177.00).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.250,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Widforss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grand Canyon im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.500,00 (€ 143.177,00).
