The work Trees, Yosemite Valley by Gunnar Widforss was worth SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,494.52) to a buyer in June 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Classic Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of SEK 10,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunnar Widforss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grand Canyon in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 121,500.00 (€ 143,177.00).
