Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scorcio Di Capri Con I Faraglioni by Guido Odierna was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,837.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Odierna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing vessels off Capri at dusk; and Waves breaking on the rocks, Capri, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71).

Die Arbeit Scorcio Di Capri Con I Faraglioni von Guido Odierna kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.837,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
