Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Thea as a Cat from Thea playng as a cat by Guido Argentini was sold in the SEX Theme Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,911.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Argentini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Where Duality Begins in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 23,550.00.

Die Arbeit Thea as a Cat from Thea playng as a cat von Guido Argentini wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion SEX Theme Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.911,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Argentini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Where Duality Begins im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.550,00.
