Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 4,875.00 (€ 5,599.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Admittedly, works by Guido Argentini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Where Duality Begins in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 23,550.00.

Die Arbeit Waiting for the Wizard to Come, 1993 von Guido Argentini kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.875,00 (€ 5.599,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Argentini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Where Duality Begins im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.550,00.
