This artwork by Guan Yong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. In the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction, the work Succession sold for HKD 1,820,000.00 (€ 168,675.91) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Guan Yong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Do you Know? We are so distressed sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of HKD 2,420,000.00 (€ 251,410.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guan Yong erzielte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
