Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Guan Yong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Classic 6 sold for HKD 1,580,000.00 (€ 141,338.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Guan Yong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Do you Know? We are so distressed sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of HKD 2,420,000.00 (€ 251,410.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guan Yong erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Classic 6 für HKD 1.580.000,00 (€ 141.338,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00.
