A top price for Guan Yong
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Do you Know? We are so distressed by Guan Yong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,420,000.00 (€ 251,410.79). With this result, Do you Know? We are so distressed is even the most expensive work of art by Guan Yong that we have observed at auctions so far.
