Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hero 2 by Guan Yong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,343.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Yong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Do you Know? We are so distressed in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,420,000.00 (€ 251,410.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hero 2 von Guan Yong kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.343,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Yong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Do you Know? We are so distressed im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.420.000,00 (€ 251.410,79).
