Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Sors saluais et virtutis (Carmina Burana) by Gregor Hildebrandt for GBP 11,340.00 (€ 13,298.50). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gregor Hildebrandt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Faith in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,942.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sors saluais et virtutis (Carmina Burana) von Gregor Hildebrandt für GBP 11.340,00 (€ 13.298,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregor Hildebrandt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Faith im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.942,95).
