Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Pie Chart Study: Domestic Duties by Greg Colson for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,232.63). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Greg Colson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Domestic Duties in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,944.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pie Chart Study: Domestic Duties von Greg Colson für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.232,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Greg Colson erzielen.
