Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Octopus Connections by Greg Colson was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 926.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Greg Colson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Domestic Duties in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,944.79).

Die Arbeit Octopus Connections von Greg Colson wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 926,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Greg Colson erzielen.
