Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Shaped Painting VI by Graham Collins for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,309.36). This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Graham Collins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,692.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shaped Painting VI von Graham Collins für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.309,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Graham Collins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.692,67).
